Jim Creek

Yesterday Bill, Ashley, and I drove out to Jim Creek Recreation center. It is a military camp ground just a little outside of Arlington. It was so nice out there. There is camping places for tents and rv's and there are little cabins. Some of the cabins are right on the creek and some set back in the woods more. There is also 2 lakes and a bunch some hiking trails. You can rent boats and go out on the lake and fish. They have a thing called the alpine tower. It is a tall tower that you climb that has lots of ropes and stuff. It looks really fun. We had fun out there looking around and seeing what they have. Later that night Bill and I sat down to figure out a weekend to go out there and camp and found out that we have either some thing already planned or Bill will be on the boat or deployed all summer. So as much as we want to go camping this summer it looks like we are not going to get a chance.
